I think it is very important to know about all types of extensions so clients can be better informed.

Everyone has their own opinion. After working with all kinds and being professionaly educated for fusion, weft, tape and vogue pearl, I just love nano because if done well, I find they are the safest.

It seems that everyone tends to have bald spots on the anchor bead spots for those who have worn weft for a while.

For the sandwiches bead only weft method again I find the anchor bead area bulky and adds unnecessary tension on the scalp and hair.

I did tape and even took a course on how make my own, but I always found it messy taking them out or clients always come with a different type and you nee xyz products to remove those ones...or just so many different variations can occur.

If working with a type I for sure suggest sticking to one kind only so that you can be prepared. Its just hard to do that at times with so many people doing extensions now. Or going the other way and having all the tools and removals for all types. Tapes are nice but i just find the least noticeable are the nanos.

Also sometimes a stylist may get sick, so another thing to take into consideration is who will be doing maintenance on the clients if they miss their appointments or an emergency arises and can't get in it time? Sometimes...it is whomever and that can be problem.

Any type of glue I am just not a fan of because I find they can a mess to take out. However, don't take my opinions to heart! These are only from my experience and you will see from trying different ones out. I do love nano over natual beaded row as well which are done with thread and bead. I took Danielle K. White's course and I find its the best. I worked at Refinery in Arizona for a while to get to know it more before I did them, too.

I like weft other than the anchor bead hurdle. But the problem I see with many types other than nano is the array of methods that clients want now. They want you to know all the methods. As a professional I will not simply take a Youtube video then do the method and I just don't have thousands to pay for each and every new method of weft that pops up.

Nano I find is simple and easy to use and safest for the hair. I have people with super thick hair have nanos and prefer it. Some say they can't get thickness with them.

Wefts don't take as long to apply..nano do take a bit longer. So people find them possibly more expensive at times. But time is money. I simply find they are way more natural looking as you never see a big weft across the scalp. And no matter what, I find eventually you see that. It makes me cringe a bit. Seeing just a strand of hair is much better to me and if the bead is correctly choses then you don't see it. For sure seeing a white bead in someones hair that is dark make me cringe a bit, too. LOL! Also the strings in the weft courses aren't taught to be cut in many cases. What is up with that? Colors for wefts, hair, strings and beads all need to be choses correctly.
